Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

We have just returned from taking our 20month old grandson for four days at DLP. Made the mistake of booking into the Cheyenne.
Now bearing in mind that since the park opened we visited every year with our daughters until three years ago, and stayed at all the hotels except New York, we found the breakfast environment horrendous.
Perhaps it is because now our daughters are older and we holiday as a couple rather than a family, we have become used to a small amount of luxury over the last few years. After Newport Bay and the Disneyland which were the hotels we used for a few years,it was like being back at school. The noise was edeafening, and I know nearly everone was doing it, but people walking round with trays of piles of rolls and croissants etc which are obviously for lunch. We ate our fill at breakfast and then didn't need to eat until the evening. Is it just because you can?
Next time its NPB or Disneyland
Anyway I hope anyone who goes enjoys their trip, we did apart from breakfast..lol

We are staying in Cheyenne in January, have stayed there before and loved it but then it was our first time there, have also stayed in Davy Crockett and New York, loved them all, New York was posh at breakfast time but Davy Crockett and Cheyenne fun I thought.
One thing I can't remember about Cheyenne is whether you can only go up for food once at breakfast, my sister said that's what they did in Santa Fe, not that we want to bloat ourselves, just want to make sure littleun doesn't get 1 little thing on his plate then try to go back for the rest.If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0 -
Hi can anyone help me with this query? Am off to DLP next Sun 14th (3 nights Santa Fe and 2 nights Davy Crockett) and have a question about the booking of the half board option.
Now according to the brochure it says that half board vouchers can be redeemed at face value at character meals etc - now when I phoned DLP to check this the women was very vague and just started saying well you can buy 5 nights half board and buy Cafe Mickey meal as well??!!? She said she didnt recommend not booking for Cafe Mickey and we couldnt pre book unless we paid for a specific meal.
Well I dont really want or need to be paying for and eating an extra meal so just wondered if anyone had actually paid with a voucher at a character meal - was it ok -any drama, how much extra was it etc.
Thanks in advance
Sally
ps last year I nabbed loads of rolls, butter, cheese and meat to make lunchtime rolls ......:T loads of people were doing it and I will be again in 12 days time!
Sorry I can't help with your query, I just wondered why you have booked to stay in 2 hotels? Sounds like fun, I never thought of that, it's too expensive to stay for the full trip in some of them so could try splitting it!If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0 -

Zoeleigh,
As said, you can go as many times as you like, the only restriction seemed to be for the cold meats(joke..cheap ham and maybe some spicy meat) which had a member of staff dishing it out. She acted as if the stuff was coming out of her wages. Just tell her to put more on the plate if you want to.Although she wasn't there all the time
Don't think I would class it as fun though..
Just wanted to add though. We like the Cheyenne itself as a hotel, just not happy with the breakfast set-up
Have a good time0 -
