I have booked flights from 28 Jan-2 Feb 2015, looking at DLP site it is £434 for Sequoia lodge we are a family of 4, 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. I have been at this time before and stayed at Santa Fe with free half board option but that was 8 years ago. Can you tell me if I will get a better price on Sequoia Lodge and if it would be better to hold out for a half board option, also is it worth paying the extra for Sequoia Lodge for the pool. Also do you know the opening times if the pool. Thanks in advance.:DPay off ALL my debt by Xmas 2012 ChallengePaid Jan £1027.83/Feb £917.97/Mar £1353.67/Apr £1367.19#259 Total £4643.67/£12,636:eek:Lose 14lbs in 2012 9/14lbs:eek::TJanuary Grocery Challenge £263.98/£300:T

Information about hotel pool closures can be found at:-

Only ever used the pool at Davy Crockett Ranch, IIRC opening times were around 11am to 10pm. The pool was always busy in the late afternoon and evenings though, so we used to go before lunch when it was fairly quiet in there.
Edit: according to the link below, SL indoor pool operates from 7am to 9:45pm.

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to book eurostar indirect.
I thought they would be out 90 days before departure (for us 21/07/14), but they're already out.
So if you need tickets, get them now, before the prices go up!0 -
balletshoes wrote: »sorry i can't help with the travel in France, how are you getting to DLP? If its suitable, you could do the Eurostar from London to DLP, then from Paris back to London. You'd just book them as 2 single journeys rather than one return.
Hi Balletshoes , thanks for your comments.
We were wondering about the transport now, whether to drive to take Eurostar. Driving, I felt can be cheaper and may give us the flexibility to drive to else where in Europe (zurich or some where nearer) but train can be comfortable and less stressful.
What is your take on this balletshoes, am I being too greedy trying to do too many things, just thought that as we have 5 days in hand we might as well expand on the trip a bit.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Back from Le Chene Gris, finally found the Carrefour that was signposted on the side of the house.
The Co-Ordinates are -
N 48'49'01.9"
E 003'03'05.6"
In addition, they have built a new McDonalds just off the A4 near the D934 road.
Also, we drove into Central Paris, parked at the foot of the Effiel Tower... I parked for an hour (€3.60) whilst Mrs AO went and bought tickets. Then once we had them, I put 2hrs on the car €7.20 and climbed the stairs to floor 2, then the lift to the top. In total €31 for 2A, 1C to go to the top, plus parking.0 -
We are off to DLP in 10 days time. My only concern is going on rides with my children. I am very overweight - around 23 stone. I'm really worried about going on the rides! Well, fitting on the rides I suppose!! We will be doing Dumbo, flying carpet, Buzz lightyear, small world etc as the children are 6 and 3.
Should I be worried? Will I be refused entry to any of the rides? Can they ride on their own for any ride?
My husband is coming too. Will he be able to take 2 kids on a ride?0 -

Rides are height based. Your 6 year old should be okay on most rides on his own.
You'll struggle with the cars rally ride. That's the only one I can think would be difficult for you.
There's a huge amount of walking involved. Be warned of that.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
