Did a pregnancy test about two weeks ago...and came on the very next day :(
Been to the Dr's with DH and awaiting my blood test results. Poor DH has to go and produce a sample at the hospital next week.

    Thanks for asking :)

Trying to be positive and enjoy the whole TTC experience!

am just bout to stop having the depo injection and don't know anyone else who has it to ask.
i know it can take up to 2 years to conceive but how long will it be before i get a period? (roughly)
have been on depo for 7 years now and before that was on pill for 5 years

  • I was exactly the same as you when I came off the pill. In fact it was 9 months before I even had a period and during that time I had endless pregnancy tests. It took a couple of years for my periods to get into a regular pattern. I spoke to the doctor about this and she assured me it was quite normal. Once I'd had my first child I did not go back on the pill because I did not to go through the same thing again. Don't worry, it's all down to hormones.
