Day 39 in Emjem's house and still no sign!:A I can fly :A0

I haven't considered taking my temperature as what with ovulating kits, using Preseed and jumping on my husband at certain times of the month it starts to become more 'mechanical' than a natural thing. My poor husband is starting to feel used. Taking my temp would probably give me more to worry about and you guys are right - I need to relax a bit!
I know what you mean!
Trouble is, a common misconception (no pun intended) is that everyone ovulates around the 14th day of their cycle. A couple of months of charting could reveal the true pattern of your cycle, so all this timed nookie could be more accurately timed
This page has a summary of the method I'm referring to.

Although I won't be offended if it doesn't appeal to you
Good luck! My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Thanks frivolous_fay I shall have a look at this later

The first time I came off it was about 3 years ago. It was almost 8 months before I had a period of any kind. Despite OH having had the snip the paranoia about it not working set in and I was pregnancy testing and generally panicking.
I went to the Dr who's soloution was to put me back on the pill.... A few months later I had cause to see the nurse and mentioned the problems. She was furious with the Dr and told me it can take anything up to 18 months for the body to regulate after coming off the pill.
I came off it again, but this time had a period within 2 months and (touch wood) Ive been regular ever since.

...anything up to 18 months! It does make you wonder how when friends are on the pill and they 'forget' to take it a few times they become pregnant! I guess some people out there are just super fertile, lucky b***ers!:A I can fly :A0

I know! Funny thing was when I was trying for DD I became pregnant instantly!!! Id only been off it 6 weeks.
I had been taking it for 16 years though (children allowing) so I suppose its a long time to have all those hormones racing around your system.0 -
Day 40: No sign.
Am starting to question whether this is good or bad.
Am starting to get excited one minute because I'm thinking of doing another pregnancy test at the weekend if my period hasn't arrived...
...and then I'm thinking perhaps it hasn't arrived because there is something wrong with me.
Crystal ball anyone?:A I can fly :A0 -
My natural cycle is anything from 14 to 64 days... at the time having never taken any contraception. I am an oddity though

(Of course, now I have the mirena coil in I've not had a period for months, but I'm glad of that as they were so heavy!)Purple Penguin Power!

Anything happened yet?
I didn't have a period for ages after coming off the pill. In fact I became pregnant without ever having a period. My baby was born 13 months after I came off the pill. The due date was sheer guesswork ( in those days there were no scans) but my GP guessed absolutely right!0
