4/10 today was a cheese and HM tomato relish sandwich. I've only got 5 more days at work this month, so I definitely won't be making my target!0

Hi I all, I wasn't in the mood for making my packed lunch last night and deep inside I secretly decided it wouldn't be a LTW today. I also secretly rationalised that one bought lunch after 3 months of LTW WOULDN't hurt the bank. But guess what. when I woke up this morning, I still found myself making two mini chicken wraps as my LTW. CRISIS AVERTED!!! I am so proud of myself for resisting the temptation.
Tonight's dinner is chicken afritada and it's also earmarked as tomorrow's LTW for OH and me. I am cooking a. It batch so it will be DS2's lunch at home."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -

well done all.
I have continued taking lunches to work and now nearing the end of my first full month I'm surprised how much money I have left with pay day on Friday - I'm going to pay more towards my debt reduction.
This week been more adventurous re food and taken soups, salads, wraps or sandwiches, but tomorrow I'm going to join Marmiterulesok with porridge, a banana and apple.:DBlitz that mortgage

That's great that you're making such savings. It's a real eye opener and a shock to see what we'll pay for convenience, when you can save so much with usually just a little effort.
Porridge rocks in my world. So simple to make and so nourishing.I actually prefer to eat it at tea time!I could eat it twice a day tbh.0 -
