Hi,
Please could I join?! We have just paid off our cards but our in laws are kindly loaning us £7000 to get our kitchen done (all interest free and to be fair they would probably be happy if we paid a fiver a month). Obviously we want to pay them as quickly as we can and so I am trying to think of ways to speed this up.
I have tried NSDs and don't seem very good at them but thought if I could 'make' an extra £150 a month then that can go towards repayment...we will be paying a fixed amount as well, of course!
I make cakes as a hobby for friends and family and they usually give me a little something on top of costs (not loads but it all adds up), so I will count that as it is 'extra'.
I would like to go for £5 a day...I sold a suit of my son's on FB yesterday for £7 and have another £20 coming from another couple of things...does this sort of stuff count?0 -
Hello
Please sign me up for £5 a day.
Thanks so much!

Hi all
Hope you've all had a good day? I got off to a good start on my £10 a day challenge by searching online for 'cashback' accounts that I've opened over the years and then forgotten about!
Found £5.30 on a prepaid credit card and on outstanding payment for £8.95 on another cashback site which is now on its way to my bank account.
Total for day 1 is therefore £14.25.
Really pleased with that0 -
Hiya everyone and welcome to more new peoples :hello:
If you are not sure what counts have a little peep at the first posts on page 1. Just about everything counts so long as it's not your main wage (though you can count overtime) and stuff you sell certainly counts. You can add money saved on things you buy if you were going to buy them anyway and found a discount/get cashback.
Just ask if you're not sure and Aesop will confirm for you.
Well - after I recovered from my surprise today I did some surveys and made a grand total of £1.00. Still that's 100 pennies more to the funds
Hope you all have a super Thursday

Love reading this, well done. This could be this week's challenge. For those of you who don't use cashback regularly and you should be, check if you ever opened an account and didn't use it, you might have some cash waiting for you
Everyone who does not actively use cashback, check if you have ever opened cashback accounts and have some money setting in them. Some really old ones have closed down now but quidco and topcashback are still going strong.0 -
