Named Driver on a previously voided insurnace policy

    Quite clearly there is a mix up with the RK, Owner, Policyholder situation which the insurer finds sufficient to void the policy.

    However, I prefer not to judge without the OP explaining all the available facts.

    Insurers sometimes get it wrong.

    Exactly - while its not usual its perfectly possible for the insurance to be in the name of the main driver who may not be the registered owner.

    But this needs to be made clear to the insurer - and recorded on the policy documentation by them.

    Difficult to know what to suggest - but answer the questions truthfully if your new insurer asks.
