How many cucumbers should i get from 1 plant?

    Does anyone know why some of the cucumbers are not growing, they just die off. So only about 15% of them grow fully into cucumbers.

    Anyone know why?

    No Idea, I have had the same problem and planted F1 telegraphs. The cucumbers form, start to grow, then just drop off. I have just one that looks like it might be OK

    Had about 7 cucumbers so far but about 40 or so have fallen over.

    You will get some dying off naturally.

    Are the cucumber plants getting a cold blast of air?

    Fluctuating temperatures can affect the plants.

    I don't leave the cucumbers to grow too large or it will slow down the cropping.

    No they stay more or less the same temp in the greenhouse. Can i take all the ones that will not grow off?

    If they are dying off or mis-shapen, I cut them off. No good leaving them on the plants.

    I'm still picking at the rate of 3-4 cucumbers every 2 days at the moment.
