How many cucumbers should i get from 1 plant?

This is my 2nd year of growing them and it's been very sucussful. So far we have had 1 last week, 1 is nearly ready and got about 3/4 30-50% of the way.

But this one has been growing like mad now got 3 supports going horizontal aswell as an upright one.

So wanting a few more tips and how many should i get hopefully?

p.s do ii take off those long bits that look like pigs tails?

Not sure about quantities as this is our 1st year growing cucumbers, we have 5 plants and they are producing well, 3 ready to pick and more on the way. No don't remove the curly bits as they use these to climb.

Ours failed this year. We've got courgettes/marrows coming out of our ears though!!!

Indoors or out doors? We usually get @ 10 outdoors and twice that from the green house. Usually give a lot away! Remember to feed every couple of weeks - tom food does the job!

Fed and watered mine, but the only cucumber is a mutant which looks like 3 growing as 1

I pinch out the growing tip on my cucumber plants when they reach 6ft. I then grow on the side shots and pinch them out as well.

Last year my 3 cucumber plants produced 124 cucumbers all together.

Cropping even better so far this year as well.

mine is only 12 in high and the only cucumber is 1cm have given up on it and shall try again next year

I am picking them at he rate of 3 or 4 cucumbers every 2 days at the moment.;)

Ok do you keep all the leaves on as atm got 1 big upright and then trailed 4 off on the side. Can i cut all the stems that i dont need that grow everywhere else.

I only cut off leaves that go yellow at the base of the plants. I pinch out the growing tip on the main stem and do the same on the side shoots as well after training it up a support.

If there are some that you don't want to grow any longer, cut them off.
