in Credit cards
Hi
I have not had acredit card for 10years and notw find that a majority of car hire companies wil not let me hire a car unless I have a credit card, therefore, I kinda need to get one.
Can anyone advise which would be best for me? Tho i have not had a card I have a very good credit rating.
Cheers

I would suggest Egg Money as you get money back on all you spend on it. Any other cash back card would be as good as long as you clear the balance each month.

Hey,You could try a brand new website that has just launched (yesterday). It will give you a GREAT idea of the best deals out there. Have a look at this:

You may have to get a card to rebuild your credit score because you haven't had a card in so long. Depending on your credit score, I would apply for either Barclaycard, Aqua, Vanquis, or Capital One's card. The high APR shouldn't be an issue as long as you repay in full every month. Then, once you have strengthened your credit score, move to a cash back card and earn money on purchases."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

Ah, I see. Very good eye you have there lurker53. Still, it's an okay search site, I'd use it for a guide. Although, mvc4uk, if you're from them I have a comment: there isn't many credit cards listed. Please add more."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."
