Not easily unlocked I believe, if your still in contract O2 won't help.
However if you can save at least £20 by unlocking try here :

Generally O2 phones are not locked, so maybe the Xda's are unlocked too.
Worth trying another providers sim card in it to see, that is if you already havent.
All our phones (so far) even work using American sims.
