hello all,
I received my test message today, was wondering how easy it was to visit a EE store and claim your free charger? was any questions ask, or simply did you need to show EE staff the text you received???

You need to give them the code and also the phone number it was sent to.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I just read them the code, they printed something off (nothing to sign) and handed me the bar0

You will have to listen to the full sales pitch from the A4 sheets they have.0

I didn't.
They simply typed my code and mobile number in to their computer, then handed over the bar.
Extremely easy. :T
Same here, I just showed the guy the phone screen with the message visible, he tapped the code into his computer and handed over the charger.
It's been exactly the same procedure in 2 different shops.====0 -

Well, I went to Torquay with son and son's friend. Son was asked for account holder's name (and gave them mine, which is correct). Friend gave his own name and was refused a bar - the account is in his mother's name. An older woman at the other till was also refused, she gave her name but was trying to collect one for her partner. Two days later, in Exmouth, I collected one without being asked my name (just telling them my code and number). So, very inconsistent.0 -
Have you read the T&C's - its not free it has to go back in 18 months (in good condition) otherwise £5 is charged to your account.

Good luck to them doing that to people who ordered them on PAYG sims, especially those with the Dan & Phil promo sims that binned them after the promotion...====0
