He says he's going to give it longer and see how it goes. That translates as "I'm just going to keep it and moan every time I use it"....0

At the grand old age of 16 I started off with a philishave rotary. At around 50 I found a Braun foil "ultimate shaving performance" on offer, I could not get on with it, it was an awful shave. Went back to philishave.0

Did he go from wet shaving to electric? The best shaves seem to be with a cutthroat razor, then a standard 'safety razor', then the electric ones TBH. Wet shaving you have the actual blade directly against the skin, electric there is always a foil in the way, which will always affect the shave.
On the other hand, electric shaving is fast and convenient compared with a wet shave, so you can have a top-up buzz-round easily enough.0 -
I know it is not same but I took an expensive backpack back to JL 10 months from buying due to one of the zip toggles falling off and lost.
I had used it twice (about 4 weeks of use) and it was in pristine condition apart from the fault. They fully refunded even though their 'policy' on fashion items is 3 months.
Pillows you 'cannot return once bought'. Although if there is a fault I suspect the Consumer Act comes into play.0 -
But that's just one person opinion. You talk as if you speak for everyone who has used this shaver but the fact of the matter is you haven't.
One person trying to return something they don't like trying the legal terms eg "I don't like it, therefore it's not fit for purpose" is completely the worst way to go about things.
You obviously have to ask for the refund first - they are usually quite good at accepting refunds if the product doesn't do what you need it to."Real knowledge is knowing the extent of one's ignorance."0
