vodafone credit refusal

sorry if this has been posted before but i applied for an iphone in carphone warehouse ,it was with vodafone ,when they did the credit check i was refused , ive taken the 30 day trail with experian abd my credit score is 834 ? has this happened to anyone else and what can i do

Credit score is just 3 digits made up by the agencies and means nothing.

Buying through CPW adds another level to the problem, you could have been refused if there was a data discrepancy made by the salesman, on the CPW system or on the Vodafone system.

Have you actually checked your file at all 3 agencies for any problems? (Forget about the arbitrary score, look for late payments, defaults, etc).

What you do it realise this was the best news you could hear. Buy your own unlocked phone and go SIM only or PAYG, and just watch how much money you save.
