Land Registry Plans

Good afternoon all,
I'm in the process of buying a terraced property, it is the middle of 3 in a row. I've just had the land registry details and outline plans from my solicitor and I'm a little confused with the results. The plan implies that the border includes the garden of one of the neighbouring properties. The end property was build after the other two houses, so it is possible the land was never sold with it?
I have obviously asked my solicitor to look into it I just wondered if anyone else had come across anything similar before.

This is probably the original plan.
Somewhere, probably in the written title, there will be a written amendment drawn up when the house next door was added. Maybe an amended plan too.
This often happens when things are changed.0 -

I had thought that, but the plan also shows the building next door, so must have been drawn up after that had been built. I guess I'll just have to wait and see!0 -

Have you visited the property? Where is the fence on that side of the garden?0 -
Yes I've visited it. There is a small fence (if you could call it that) between the two properties as per the black line on the plan. It is a small 1ft post every 6ft with a bit of wire running between them, so not exactly a border. Those neighbours have been there 56 years (give or take), the same as the lady from my property who died in 2013. So I have a feeling it's been like that for a while, maybe with just a mutual understanding of boundaries or perhaps no knowledge of the actual boundaries?0

Because it shows next door too, then it is most likely right. I have seen where the plans of two adjacents show different stages of a development, but if this is the current copy as from the land registry then it should be right and current. The OP can buy, for £3, the plan for next door, and it may well show them having just the front garden.0
