Twissue (Twitter issue)

I just tried to retweet for a daily, and it wouldn't send it. Now my Twitter account in locked. To unlock it they want my phone number to send a code. It lists +44 for the UK I've tried typing my full number, plus missing the first digit out, then the first two digits, but when I click enter it says "Internal Error".

Anyone else getting the same?

Any suggestions?

I've just had this too! Maybe they're onto us compers..
I didn't have any problems with the phone number though, sorry I couldn't be of more help there.

I managed to unlock it. The problem was because I was using my landline number, and they wanted a mobile number to send a text with the code.

Now then, do I carry on doing my dailies, and tweeting away, or would it be better to wait a while, in case it's a blip and it happens again? What do folks think?

Yep, just tried following someone and it wouldn't let me and tried RTing a comp and it wouldn't let me and tried writing a tweet and it said 'This request looks like it might be automated. To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, we can't complete this action right now. Please try again later.'

But it makes more sense that they block you. Clearly they're football fans :D

I think I'm going to do other stuff and tweet again later. It would have to happen on a Friday, with all those Friday tweet comps - TCH!

Twitter done this a few months ago, it's a glitch, just ride it out, usually a few hours and u will be fine xxx

got this late last night - unlocked easily enough.


Now i'm getting a text every time someone follows me... Managed to turn it off though.
