Ethical Investment Trusts

I am looking for an ethical Investment Trust (i.e. no arms companies, oil, gas, mining etc) to put some savings into. Any suggestions?

Without knowing your ethics and running through the criteria list and filters and getting the list of funds that matches that, no-one can answer your question.
Plus, it is unrealistic to ask others to do your own research as its very much a personal thing when it comes to ethical investments.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I'm doing my own research. Fair enough comment however as my question was far too general.0

It may not be entirely clear whether some of the individual companies within are involved in areas beyond those covered by the chosen trust(s). You'd have to dig deeper into the details.
TRIG is on my list as I want some of that sector and perceive it as an ethical longer term antidote to BRWM & BRCI, the fossil fuel divestment campaign is gathering momentum.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0 -
Yes fossil fuel divestment is going well now and has been helped by the retiring editor of the Guardian adopting it as a cause.0

Every ethical fund publishes which ethics it will follow and which it will not.
The normal research process is that you decide from the ethics list which ethics you want to meet, which you do not care about. You then filter the funds based on that criteria. This will then leave you with a selection of funds that meet your ethics and you can select from that.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
