I wouldn't sell a mobile outside of the UK! I fell victim to this once and after posting the item the buyer was given a refund for the full £160 as he claimed he had not received it. So I had no phone or money!!

So you didnt post it via a trackable method? including covering it with postal insurance for loss or damage?0 -

You can't insure a phone sent overseas where it is worth more than £34. No the guy did not want it sending insured at all. He insisted how it was to be posted and like a sucker I went along with it. *sigh*Dream of being mortgage free....

I'm pretty sure that you could FedEx or Amtrak it and get insurance - but Royal Mail won't insure phones sent overseas for more than £34. I just couldn't be bothered when I sold mine though - I just let it go UK only.For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also ...0

As you now realise insurance for such items should not be an option.
