Bathroom - wet wall boarding, anyone used it?

I'm new on here, so please forgive if this has been asked before!!
Had wet walls fitted in our bathroom about 15 months ago. Generally very pleased, but have noticed an unpleasant smell around the edge of the bath. The special edging is not leaking, but water is getting down behind/between the bottom of the wet wall and the edging - hope you can understand me!
Should the edging have been better fixed? Does it need to come out?
Any advice gratefully received.0 -
