    :(HI Jonesya

Just seen your message regarding wet walling, we had some wet walling installed in 2007 in our shower room and we are experiencing the same problem as you did, the installation was done by an experienced joiner and plumbing firm as well. the plumber has re sealed the shower tray twice now, on one occasion they took the cubicle and shower tray out and started from scratch resealing it, this was in Feb 2010, the sealant is already lifting again and to add insult to injury i have now found a 2 -3 inch split in the surface of the wet walling itself. Did you finally give up and have the wet walling taken out, or have you resolved the problem. DIY queen
  • I didnt use wet wall after a friend had a very bad experience.. We used Grant westfield multi panel, we love it plus we got a vanity top to match for our sink and cupboard. excellent product and great price

I have wetwall sheeting in my shower. It is 12 years old and looks as good as the day it went in. If I moved house and had to redo a shower room I would use this again. I clean it with showergel and a net puff thingie supposed to be for cleaning me:D)and squegee it and it is perfect.

We have it in our internal shower room for 6 years and it is great, still looks good. We have just had it re siliconed periodically to keep the clean look.

I'll second this. Used it in a shower room in a student house - looks as good as new with virtually no maintenance. We used the small tile effect in blue with a silver shimmer. Looks fantastic.
  • I suggest everyone presses the spam button for the post above, but in regards to the topic - I think our old rented house had a large bathroom with similar walls. They were dark though (with light flecks in) and almost impossible to get a streak free finish. I think if you had a lighter colour the streaks would be far less noticeable.
  • Hi
Can anyone who has used this or similar please advise how they went about fixing soap holders etc. I have been advised not to drill into the panels!

    Regards
    G
