    Hi all

Oh sorry to here that determined. Hope things look up for you on the job front.

Another here worrying about future finances. I have probably said this before but our tax credits are due to drop from £620 to £65 a month in August and DS is moving from DLA to PIP too. We could easily be in a situation where we just dont have enough coming in to pay the basics.

Anyhow, dog walked, going to make a curry for tea and cut the chicken up very small to make it look more! Just discovered bird poo all over the duvet cover that I hung out on the line this morning so that's had to go back in the wash. Going to get some housework done next, bathroom needs a scrub.

God my life is so full of ups and downs! We came back from 10 days in Turkey on Monday. Had an amazing time then I lost my job on Tuesday (like right now I'm unemployed) and within half hour found out my mum has died.

So very sorry for you. A truly awful time. I hope things improve for you.

    Maria.

Feeling very bummed out and no motivation to look for a job right now. Glad I have all of these MSE/small things skills. Think we will be ok as long as I get a job in the next 4 months.

Massive, massive hugs - so many "big" stresses to deal with in such a short space of time, glad you had the holiday before all these hit you. Take one day at a time lovey and we're all here for you

Determined -You poor poor thing. I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now. Lots of love.

Yorkshire - I am sorry you have that hanging over you. Do you have any scenarios figured out for dealing with that drop? I should explain but that is how I usually try and plan, have an a, b & c lined up which may not be amazing option wise but at least show me clearly what I 'could' do. Like I had a crunch point with the shop cash flow recently and had to think through how I would cope if I didn't have all the rent. In the end I did. But I often have to live day to day when things are tight without knowing how it will pan out.

Maria - your situation sounds worrying too. More stress is the last thing you need right now.

Really sorry so many people are not having a good time of it right now.

Well I don't feel great admitting it in that light but today was my 3rd good day of trade in a row. I'm starting to wonder if the curse might be lifting. Or the jungle drums are just slow to beat. Seeing a lot of new mums and baby groups that I didn't know before so fingers crossed for more good word of mouth. I'm grateful to be able to pay my bills.

Son is fine thanks to those who asked.

Hannah - how great to get such a big incentive back from your personal trainer:)

OK have had my marketing phone calls for the night.
Have eaten fish fingers and new potatoes, for some reason found them in freezer and on side, duh, its a meal!
Have dealt with the fact today that I will indeed be massively in debt in Jan 2016. I will reduce this by saving like mad between now and then and try to reduce the situation.
I am very envious of people who are in debt from buying stuff. At least they enjoyed getting into debt. Mine is business related. Unavoidable and grim at times. I need to keep motivated, focused and keep my eye on the bigger picture at all times and not sink into despair or why bother mode. Done!

Now need to do dishwasher and go to bed and face another day in paradise tomorrow.

    Night all.

Back from camping trip today. Normal service will soon be resumed. Stuck to all our budgets while we were away.

Bob we need good news, I am pleased for you.

No matter how we juggle the figures we are going to be short. Realistically it means one of us earning more and I am not sure how we can do this without it impacting on DS. Its all very complicated and a lot depends on whether DS is in full time education/training or not, and of course whether he gets PIP.

We do have a little emergency money set aside which would tide us over for 2-3 months if it came to it. This would give us enough time to find additional work if needs be. This is the best plan I can come up with at the moment.

Thank you on both counts. Oh yes posted late yesterday to say we'd had a bike crash. He came off and then went into me. Was all a bit dramatic at the time but he's fine today. Nothing broken.
