Novice query. Can cashback deals be free?
Help! I am a complete mobile novice. So far I've only ever used pay as you go for emergencies only with direct debit payments for usage. I now want to use a phone more for calls and text. I looked at the site and found my way to other places where there are 12 and 18 month cashback deals. Phones are free and the cashback equals the amount of the tariff.
Can anyone explain to me - does this mean that, providing I keep within included minutes for calls/texts that I will end up paying nothing after the cashback? Or, am I missing something that I don't know about?
Many thanks to anyone who can answer what probably seems a completely daft question to most of you out there.

Its not a daft question, in theory yes it will work out free if you dont go over the usage but and its a big BUT, you have to follow the terms and conditions of the cashback to a tee. Send them everything they ask for on the dates they require it, send them recorded delivery so you know they have recieved them, a lot of companies will try and fob you off, try and use the big compaines, carphone warehouse etc. So many people fall foul of cashback schemes, if you fail on the first cashback then all the rest become invalid which means you will not be able to calim any cashback, its a potential nightmare, if unsure about anything always ask on here well in advance. We will help you if we can.0
