Poor, poor Igor :( Losing his favorite chest wig like that Oh and Tatty of course :D
My stoopid compooper was playing up something awful last night so I couldn't declare my NSD for yesterday so I am declaring now NSD #15 and I do believe that scotmum has just reached her first target :j
Dearest marmite could you please put me down for a second target of 20.
Boy those Haggis fur shoes didn't half make my feet pong and as soon as I took them off Hubert half inched them. He is at this minute strutting up and down the hall thinking he's all that.but at least he made poor Igor smile when the tail of the haggis got tangled with the tail of the donkey and he went head over heels and landed in a very indelicate position :rotfl:
Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Rumour has it last night Bert Scroggins' s flash car was seen parked outside a Travelodge nearby. And, in the early hours of the morning, wild, animal-like screeches were heard. Followed the sight of an ashen-faced Mr Scroggins, shaking from head to foot, getting in said posemobile and revving off into the night.

He needn't think he can show his face here, Chef and Igor have a new meatballs recipe they are wanting to test......

As for Madam Tatjiana.....a call to the relevant authorities about dodgy passports and visas will sort her out!

Knit Witch, scotmum good to see you!I was getting worried that I was going to be the only one force fed Igor's and Cheffie's new culinary triumph for tea tonight:Swedish meatballs with marinated sprout dumplings and scrag end of ferret in a suet pastry, followed by Igor's legendary pink lumpy custard with Ex-Lax chocolate sprinkles (an old family recipe).

I must dash off though. The pool shuts in two hours and I want to practise my synchronised swim with Helga and the voles before next Saturday's regional competition.

Well done all on the nsds.:j:j
The cauldron was getting a bit antsy.

    Today is NSD 09/15
£47605.33 outstanding in C.C (£8000 Interest free till January 2025)
  • Hello fellow NSD campers,

Just came back from camping with my DS2's scout group where I served as parent/staff, hence the 3 day silence. I promise I have been good and added 3 more NSD's for Friday, Saturday and Sunday - making my total 15/20 and second 6 in a row. :money: I am over the moon at my progress.

I thought it would be a spendy weekend as I thought I would need to buy some food to pack for the camp but laziness and tiredness set in. I ended up packing our stuff an hour before we left for the campsite and ended up not going shopping. Which is just as well because there were plenty of stuff in the cupboard to take with us without having to go shopping. I almost bought a small tent for myself to stay in but hubby dug his heels and said no. We have a small 3-person tent that we got off a nice couple on Freecycle 3 years ago which we haven't used since receiving it and I thought it was way too small. It turns out that the tent is actually brand new and unused and quite roomy and came with a brand new camp bed too. I am so pleased I listened to my hubby. The camp fee for DS2 all weekend was only £10 and was paid a few weeks ago, and because I was one of the staff, I didn't have to pay. Not bad at all for a weekend of fun and adventure.

I stayed in bed all day Sunday recovering from night shift and I am now halfway through the second one. Can't wait til 7am when I can snuggle in bed. I am hoping today would be another no-spend day too as we have plenty of stuff in the fridge and cupboard to last us a few more days.

Payday is only a few days away (we get paid on the 24th) and I am hoping I could make another dent in the cc balance to get me to my target and my stretch target too and purchase the bed we agreed on principle with the shop owner. The July budget is looking good so far. A few areas in the budget remains untouched and could be carried over to the next month. Will update you later in the week.
