I think the current system is the best of both worlds: capitalism for the poor and socialism for the rich. All happy!

Let's hope that was a cynical comment, you can't tell nowadays.

    Why?

This thread is titled "The problem with socialism"

To demonstrate whether your assertion that socialism lacks responsibility is true of just socialism or whether you are just posting unsubstantiated and biased opinion.

I can see why you are unwilling to do so.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

Of course it isn't you dimwit.

If you hadn't noticed yet, this is an internet forum where totally unsubstantiated and biased opinion is posted, and nothing else.

You really need to stop taking yourself so seriously son.

P.S. You are clearly too stupid to see that this is a joke thread, along with most that are started on this forum.

  • I can't believe people still speak of socialism vs capitalism in 2015. You're all stuck in the 1950's, when you were 35.

Whether you call it "Capitalism vs. Socialism" or not, the same issues of the distribution of wealth are still current.

    Your casual ageism is noted.

Once upon a time capitalists were those opposed to distribution of wealth. Modern so-called capitalists are all for distribution of wealth through QE, fractional reserve banking or plain and simple subsidies for the multinationals.

What's worse, his arithmetic is sufficiently deficient for him to be unaware of the fact that by insulting those in the 91+ age group, he's unlikely to have upset anyone much at all.:)

Oh no, not fractional reserve banking!

Insults are the arguments employed by those who are in the wrong but do not wish to admit it.

The Greeks have been so lucky to benefit from his unique insight. If it wasn't for our own economic short sightedness we could all be propsering like greece.
