BT Broadband issues and failed follow up!

I moved to BT broadband a few months ago from Sky. I never had issues with sky broadband but have had nothing but problems since going to BT, experiencing dead modems which they tried insisting on sending an engineer to check until I refused. Eventually they sent a new modem of which the cable was all that seemed to be required. However, I have continually have had intermittent supply, much inferior to sky, although it is the same line etc, confirmed by Sky themselves. My main issue however is the customer service. They never follow up on calls even from the complaints dept. they have said they will update the hub, two weeks ago but it never arrived. 3 promised calls later and I'm still waiting. Since they have not kept to their end of the agreement and they have been given plenty of time to resolve the issues etc, am I right in thinking I am within my rights to move my service?
Am I they only one experiencing these problems with BT?

Using WiFi?
Are you sure it's not just the new router using an overcrowded WiFi channel?
"dead modems" is nothing to do with the line.
Was it an upgrade from ADSL to fibre?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Plus net and sky are usually a pleasure to deal with. Bt residential a real pain in the bum, only beaten by the truly awful talk talk.0

You may get lucky and get a mod from the UK to help you.0 -
Ah, but was I getting what I paid for and I didn't ask you for a judgement, just if I was the only one having problems with BT broadband useful male!
I have now received 2 new modems from BT. Both on the same day, I add. I have used the most updated one, and I will wait to see the results before posting further.2p or not 2p? That is the question!0
