I've had some pretty good customer support from BT recently. They're rather hit or miss though in my experience.

Anyway, if you're using wifi, try a cable connection. If the problems go away then it's something to do with the wifi settings, and you can explore those.

Ah, but was I getting what I paid for and I didn't ask you for a judgement, just if I was the only one having problems with BT broadband useful male!
I have now received 2 new modems from BT. Both on the same day, I add. I have used the most updated one, and I will wait to see the results before posting further.

It seems like you were getting what you paid for with Sky as, in your OP, you state "I never had issues with Sky".

For the sake of a couple of quid, you went with a cheaper option with BT and then state in your OP "but have had nothing but problems since going to BT".

I am not judging you but you cannot expect champagne service on lemonade prices.

Due to their name and market share, I think people are inclined to trust them. I've had mixed experiences, but generally feel they're getting better on important points. They seem to be answering calls faster and giving better advice. Still, for customer service, I prefer Plusnet and Zen (used both in the past and they've been very good on all occasions I needed help).
