I've finally beaten freezer surprise. Bought a roll of 500 proper sticky labels at just £4.99 which makes them pretty much a penny each.
On topic bit: Rice, or pasta, or potato tend to be interchangeable for most of my browny looking things from the freezer, though I have too served them up in a soup bowl with lots of home made bread, and also in a bowl with a good side salad. Not all my "salads" are cold.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Noooooooooooooooooooooo it doesn't.
How can something brown in a blue freezer bag sound yummy.
Sounds like poo to me. Especially as it might have goat in it.;)
If I had Mrs Pals telephone number I'd be tempted to phone her and recommend she stop at the chinese take away on her way home.
I imagine you've already decided what to have now but looking at your list of possibles I'd go for rice.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Or you could try the Atkins way and have none of the above, just add veggies

However I can't decide whether to have rice, pasta or potatoes with it. Does anyone have any ideas of what goes best with "something brown in a blue freezer bag?"
Any tips for reheating it or anything else that might be worth adding to it to make it even tastier?
Can you cook left over food from frozen? All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0 -

It wasn't left over - it was deliberately cooked and frozen. And yes, you can freeze cooked food then recook and eat it.
Anyway, to put you lot out of your misery - it was ....

Don't have one. In the end decided I could use labels on other things that wouldn't appreciate being "marker penned", so that's the route I went
