Booking holiday deposit on credit card or debit card?

My above post was for pretty flower. Leyland you posted whilst I was typing. Leyland not worth paper they're written on because the likes of ice lolly aren't very reputable. Not sure what you mean ice lolly don't sell anything why do they have a website then. They say all their packages are atol protected which as before only applies to the flights nothing else.
Ice Lolly are a price comparison site. They don't sell anything.
All elements of a package are fully protected by Atol, and always have been. Flight plus holidays are fully protected these days as well.0 -
You can pay £1 by CC and the rest by DC and get S75 protection.
Remember however if you are booking via an agent your protection is very limited as the supply chain is broken by using the middleman.
There is also protection from ATOL and ABTA. Presumably you will be buying travel insurance as soon as you've booked it too if you dont already hold annual travel insurance which will also provide broad spectrum protection.
Pay the deposit by credit card by all means but most only need so many layers of protection0
