Vodafone will not give me a PAC

For approximately 6 weeks I've been attempting to get a PAC from Vodafone for a pay as you go number that has about £5pm spent on it. I've used the online chat facility 3 times and they have refused to provide the PAC in writing when chatting to them and instead insist on calling me. When speaking to them, I've been sent around in circles for about 40 minutes being passed from one department to another all of whom claim I need to speak to another department to obtain the PAC. On another occasion I was told I would receive a call within an hour to be given my PAC. They did not call.

So I've resorted to writing a letter, which I sent approximately 2 weeks ago (foolishly not by recorded delivery) requesting that a PAC be issued immediately by text once the letter had been read. I have still not received a PAC.

Does anyone know of any trick to actually obtaining a PAC from Vodafone? As I understand it it is against Ofcom regulations for them to withhold a PAC.

I just want to leave Vodafone. Now more than anything out of principle due to the appalling customer service I have received.

As per every other Vodafone complaint on this forum, have you made contact with the Vodafone rep?

They are obliged to give you the PAC by text within 2 hours of the request. Remind the lying little toads of this next time you call. Also imply you are recording the call and will be making a complaint to ofcom if the PAC doesnt arrive.

You need it in writing? Usually its emailed quite quickly so keep checking
your spam folder.
