hi really having a problem connecting to internet
pc connects ok in safe mode and all ip addy looks great but when pc boots normally the ipv4 = 169.254.246.243 and default gateway is 0.0.0.0 any ideas please tyvm

go to control panel / internet options / connections / lan settings , and check you have not been hi jacked and sent to a proxy server , do this in normal mode
if you have , untick it , and prepare for some antivirus/malware work ahead0 -

some obvious bits...
1. have you rebooted the router?
2. how are you connecting the pc to the router?
3. have you reset the pc network connector?......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
