02 discount 500 no longer exists!

Have been on the above for a couple of years and itis now renewal time I am told by 02 that they dont do this tariff anymore with discount, would cost me £25 per month. Anyone had similar experience, any advice as I am happy with my £10 per month plus £5 insurance but it seems that wont be offered to me, in spite of the fact that I have taken out a £30 contract for a 17 year old, 18 month contract. Any advice appreciated - I always get some annoyed calling 02 for my renewal!

I rang retentions the other day and was offered the following:

Discount 500

500 mins x net
1000 texts
£100 credit
no phone
12 month contract

All for £25 per month, works out at £16.67 a month with credit

If I wanted a handset (Nokia e65, 6300, se w610i, k800i)
I wouldn't get the credit

If I wanted the nokia n95 it would cost £199.00 and my texts would drop to 400 a month.

The retentions guy wouldn't budge on £25 per month even if I dropped the amount of texts.
