That's why I do it like this:
Takes less than a minute to do.
Probably less time than posting on here complaining about it.
Then I just ignore it and leave MSE to do their job.
If they don't know about it because nobody has reported a user (as opposed to simply hitting the 'spam' button), don't expect posts to disappear by magic.
That though means the forum team need to be on hand to deal with it and occasionally that can take hours. There are also a large number of unique spammers around as well.
The forum team actually request users click the spam button as that will eventually remove them without forum team input.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.. Please note that Ambassadors are not moderators. Any posts you spot in breach of the Forum Rules should be reported via the report button, or by emailing forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.All views are my own and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.0 -

I've clicked on a few spam posts this morning, I'm not clicking on any more - sod that - we should all leave them to clog up the boards, The forum team will have to do something then!0
