as you have been told many, many times before (to check the popla code by reading the info and testing it on parking cowboys website) - read the NEWBIES sticky thread

it tells you in there who S CLARK is

I dont think you are doing enough reading of that thread

for some reason you cannot see the appeal section at popla with attachment options so are going for the evidence attachment button , but you havent actually appealed yet

I dont believe the PE popla code is incorrect either, I think its user error , dealing with you is like wading through thick treacle, sorry to say

you just dont seem to do enough to help yourself

I doubt that popla will accept this in person , no I dont

Its all done Thanks everyone for your patience. Just had to read Coupon-mad again ' A code will not work on the evidence page until you've used it on the appeals page' he was right submitted it on the main appeal page and then the code worked on the Evidence page.

"he" is actually a "she", a lady that does this regularly, whereas I have never submitted the online appeal but have read enough threads to know it can be done using the appeal submit and then attach the appeal but some browsers do cause trouble

so well done , hope its sorted now and hope you have learned a few things too

Just to clarify for any other posters reading this

You can only enter information into a text box on the POPLA appeal page and can't attach files. To attach files you must then go to the evidence page.

What I have done and advise is to
1) pre-prepare a pdf file of my appeal together with any evidence I want to include (other formats are ok too e.g. docx etc)

2) complete the appeal page - entering the first few lines of my appeal (say up to the end of the bullet list of challenges or the first few paragraphs) into the text box. Then add something like "The main body of my appeal has been attached as evidence in file <filename>"

3) Go to the submit evidence option and attach the file.

Hello,

I got a 40 page evidence pack from PE last week on the exact day my case was supposed to be heard and with the evidence pack came the the signed witness statement although they did not provide any breakdown of cost with regards to the fine. I just phoned POPLA asked am i allowed to respond to the evidence pack and the guy said No, is this right?
