    Hello - it's July now!

    Typo?

Have tried Internet Explorer and Firefox. Wasn't aware you can check code online and anyway the rejection letter along with code are both dated 10th of June so just have count 28 day from then. The code can't have expired before 28 days.

Will submit the initial main points along with see attached appeal and phone them 1st thing and tell them the evidence page would not let me submit the rest, this way have got proof I sent it. Thanks for all your help and advise.

the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you in post #1 to check the code on parking cowboys code checker (I hope you have read it)

and that date is wrong as mentioned above, its July now , so you either missed the deadline or its this week ! lol

some people have had trouble in the past with their browsers, so the advice was to try several , that way you can look better if popla query it and say its your fault , not theirs

    please , get a grip !!

just a update. Phoned popla they told me if the code is not working contact the operator and they will give you a new one. Phoned asked for a new one and the person told me to write in and they will issue me with a new one. I explained my deadline is 8th July is PE happy to give ppl an extra month to appeal. The reply was from we will issue you a new one to we can't guarantee you one. I'm not taking that chance and will just use old one even though it don't work.

The operator says my deadline has passed as today is the 28th day the cowboy website says deadline 8 july. any advise.

phone popla back and ask if you can email it in with the old code , today

tell them what the operator told you , and insist they accept it by email , this is not your error so they should sort it out amongst themselves , so tell them to ring your PPC and sort out a new code and get back to you with it, or to put it with your emailed appeal (with attachments)

if they wont do it, ask them who at london councils you make a complaint to, preferably the CEO or head

just phoned popla and asked if i can just hand it in by post or send it and they said code is invalid so their is no appeal and they cant help me. popla told me the operator is not allowed to refuse me a new code and their is nothing stopping them giving me a new one straight away and she said phone the bpa. popla. Was not surprised when i told them it was PE

ok, well email the details to S Clarke and ask him for guidance and to get you a new code or at least speak to PE

also complain to PE and insist on a new popla code asap, as advised by popla

PE don't issue wrong POPLA codes. This is a terrible waste of time and makes no sense, these codes are never wrong IMHO.

It's not that you've tried to 'add evidence' instead of 'appeal'? Or you've already appealed and now need to add evidence?

Thanks only issue am having now is the verification code is coming back as invalid. Got this letter on the 10th june so am not over the time limit though only tomorrow left. The main page say

'Only submit an appeal ONCE. If you have already submitted an appeal and would simply like to give us new or further evidence, do NOT submit an appeal again. Instead you can upload your evidence here. '

shall i copy the initial paragraph and bullet points into the comments box and submit, then give them further evidence later which the above allows after i phoned them tomorrow and ask why code is not working. or could go their in person EC1P is 30 mins from me.
Are you joking that you think people can go to POPLA in person?!

Just try adding evidence if that works then you have already appealed, because that option doesn't work until you have submitted an appeal. The only other possibility is that someone has used your code in error already - unheard of IMHO but could happen, and easily sorted just by 'adding evidence' of your full appeal as a PDF with the popla code at the top. At least your appeal would then be in.

Don't post it, don't waste time complaining, just use the code.

Oh, and if you email a complaint to Morrisons Head Office they'll cancel anyway. Should have done that at first!

asked my brother to ask morrisons to cancel it, but cant rely on that.

Have not submitted anything as code does not work on evidence page. Popla person said it happenes a lot with PE. Have phoned PE they asking me to write in eventhough deadline is tomorrow. BPA have said email them which is no point as i have spoken to them over the phone. Am not used to talking or dealing with these ppl.

    Who is S Clark?

A code will not work on the evidence page until you've used it on the appeals page. As I already said above, are you trying to 'add evidence' instead of 'make an appeal'?

PE never issue codes that don't work, in my experience I have never come across one. The person on the phone will be clerical staff who say anything.
