Parking eye popla appeal

abazat

hello, just need asome advise on popla appeal.
My brother Went into morrisons carpark for around 30min and cant remember if he bought a ticket. its a place we alway park and do buy a ticket even if we dont shop in the store. Appeal was rejected and i want to ask is it best to appeal against liability for the parking charge.
Reading the successful appeals on the popla thread its clear that Operator does not have a contractual authority to issue and pursue parking charge notices, mayby ask them to provide evidence and a witness statement signedby landowner.
thanks

look at these examples and use similar appeal points

also should be complaining to head office too0 -
Complain to Morrisons Head Office by email and they'll cancel it in 48 hours. Surely that's been tried already; this is so easy to resolve. Best if you have an odd M's receipt or 'Match & More' card to show regular shopping there - but not necessarily.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

if you mean a popla appeal, yes you attach the appeal as a word doc or pdf, then write in the comments box "SEE ATTACHED APPEAL"
tick 3 from 4 boxes
submit
make sure you have complained to Morrissons too, head office if necessary (I bet they are sick of complaints about PE by now , lol)0 -
Yes I have asked my bro to complain to Morrison as well. In terms of the appeal am talking about sending it online am on the main page
their is no link that says attach file just a submit button. their is a separate link 'evidence page' which allows attachment , but the main appeal page is none can't drag it either, am i missing something or shall i just copy and paste the whole thing. will phone them tomorrow as well0 -
yes, use the evidence attachment and attach your word doc or pdf and any other evidence too
just copy and paste your initial paragraph and bullet points into the comments box, then put SEE ATTACHED APPEAL as well0 -
Thanks only issue am having now is the verification code is coming back as invalid. Got this letter on the 10th june so am not over the time limit though only tomorrow left. The main page say
'Only submit an appeal ONCE. If you have already submitted an appeal and would simply like to give us new or further evidence, do NOT submit an appeal again. Instead you can upload your evidence here. '
shall i copy the initial paragraph and bullet points into the comments box and submit, then give them further evidence later which the above allows after i phoned them tomorrow and ask why code is not working. or could go their in person EC1P is 30 mins from me.0 -
did you not check the code on parking cowboys website like it tells you in the NEWBIES sticky thread ?
that site also tells you the expiry date too
I suppose you can email it tonight and attach the appeal doc , then phone them tomorrow saying you could not submit it online due to some error so you have emailed it and ask them to accept it
how many browsers have you tried ? one ? or more than one ?
try firefox , opera , slimbrowser , and see if it accepts it online first0 -
Have tried Internet Explorer and Firefox. Wasn't aware you can check code online and anyway the rejection letter along with code are both dated 10th of June so just have count 28 day from then. The code can't have expired before 28 days.
Will submit the initial main points along with see attached appeal and phone them 1st thing and tell them the evidence page would not let me submit the rest, this way have got proof I sent it. Thanks for all your help and advise.0 -
just checked the code on parking cowboys and it says deadline Wed Jun 10 2015 so time is still their to send whole appeal by post 1st class recorded morning and should get their on Wednesday deadline day.0
