Hi
I am looking for some advice, I cancelled back in March 2015 from British Gas, When they Finally cancelled down my account they came to me with a letter advising i still owe then £564.78 , this was due to them not taking full payments from my DD. I have asked them to explaine this and they are stating this was cause they had altered my DD to take Min Payments but now are adiving i will need to make the Full payment of the Ob, But they have not given me a itemised letter showing what i am actually paying for. I have spoke to there complaints team and there online complaints team, But i feel like i am just smacking my head of a brick wall
Thanks for any help given would be appreciated

Write(or email) headed 'complaint' and request an itemised bill(s) showing how the closing balance has been calculated.0

A letter asking for payment of an amount for which you have not had a fully itemised bill, isn't worth the paper it's written on
Forget the phone - WRITE a letter headed Complaint listing the history of the alleged debt, demanding a fully itemised bill - If BG fail to address the issue 56 days after you sent the letter, go to the Ombudsman0 -
I have requested a itemised bill, and as usual there being pains about this stating that they can not provide me one as i am no longer a customer, there usual Delay tactics, But I will send a letter tonight
Thanks x0 -
So I take it you've not had a final bill yet?0
