Great service - Car Keys - Keys in the Post

I had an issue a little while ago with some of the components in my car key coming adrift ('04 Vectra). Looking at most sites that do replacement keys - including Vauxhall - looked like I might be in for a 200 quid bill but with the alarm not deactivating as the little electrical contact had fallen off didnt think I had much choice.
However, found https://www.keysinthepost.com - 25 quid dont within a week. Just send it off, they call and take payment over the phone and new key back - all perfect.
Going to post this on Motoring as well. Cant praise them enough for a straightforward and affordable service.
Well done guys.

So they post your keys to your home address where you presumably keep your car ? Doesn't sound desperately safe - many insurance policies don't cover cars stolen using their keys.Legal team on standby0

Hmmm - bit pedantic. No reg no on the key, registered post and you can ask them to post them wherever you want - doesnt have to be home if you think thats a security issue.

Valid point rather than pedantic .
On the small chance the key is stolen then if your car is stolen insurance may be invalid .0 -
You can actually go to the shop and pick them up if you wish.
If you provide Vauxhall with the codes they post it out - again registered post (yes, not 100% failsafe I know).
Just seemed to me to be a perfect solution to being trapped into an expensive repacement.
Anyway, caveat emptor.

It's people within the royal service that pose the biggest risk. It's a 100% valid argument. Going to collect would be the sensible option, assuming you live near to them.Legal team on standby0

Fair point - to clarify then, these guys provide a great service. Be cautious about getting anything sent in the post but if you do use them the service is genuine and easy.
