Hi
Our electrolux fridge freezer ( ER2346B) , the door rubber seal is broken ir seems to be unsafe to use as a freezer(the door keeps get pushed up when full frozen , the ice is pushing it open then not working well too keep food frozen). I have now got a replacement freezer (small 1 with lid on top) now from freecycle (it was great it was even delivered been after one for about a year).
Anyway waffle over about stuff. I want to be able to use just the fridge section of our large fridge freezer , Its seem that the control on the front adjust temperature in both compartments. I been trying to find out how easy it would be just to disconnect the electrics to the freezer section if that makes sense.
Do not want to be running two freezers and burning up lots of electric , being that we on top metre our bills are going up quite a bit.

Best bet is to turn the fridge round and look on the back, i think your going to be stuck here as they rarely run two systems on one item.
Look for 2 independant cooling systems, but i think your stuck here, so its either going to be
a) throw it out
b) check on eBay etc for a damaged / inoperative item, and replace the door from it.
c) buy a new door and replace.0
