Smartwatch
Options
I'm still happy with my xperia Z, but some retail therapy is pointing me to a smartwatch, the current ones are large 47mm, but apparently the next gen will be more watch like and less in your face at 42mm and some even 38mm.
Anyone here currently use one? nterested in reading your thoughts on them, the videos mainly seem to go over the umpteen watch faces available

I've had this one for a few months now and since recent android wear updates the battery life has improved 100%...they are talking about a newer version being released but not sure when as yet

I've got a Pebble, and love it.
It's very convenient to change faces, add apps etc., and as well as the official apps, there's a huge developer community. Everything is managed via the Pebble app, either iOS or Android. I can't be sure, but I understand that android is the better serviced community due to being a bit more 'open'.
For me, it's convenience while I'm working. Phone on silent in my pocket, rather than sitting on a desk. I get a vibration if someone sends a text, and it's there on the screen to read if I want it. Also if someone calls, I can see who it is, and choose to answer or let it go to VM etc.0 -

yeah - I saw that, and it looks quite a nice one too.
I got into Pebble quite late, so just have an "Original" for the moment - but I'll be watching with anticipation for the prices on the new one (missing out the Pebble Steel)
The thing that attracted me most to the Pebble was the 7 day charge (and it is a real 7 days that I get out of it), plus the easy charge mechanism (which now seems to be being copied on other models now too), and the fact that it's totally waterproof.0 -

In the end I got the Huawei Watch, most pleased with it, my real time battery life is 3 and 4 days between charges.0 -
