Monarch hold luggage

Can anybody help I'm flying with Monarch on Wednesday and have checked in and paid for a hold bag, now on their site it clearly says many times that hold bags shouldn't weigh more than 20kg yet on my paperwork and now on my boarding passes it states I've paid for 23kg so no idea which it is. I don't want to have to pay for overweight luggage but want to fill my case IFYSWIM.. thanks

If it is a ZB code flight then the allowance is 20kg. I don't know what it is for MON coded flights.0

Be on the safe side and put 20kg in the hold bag then use the carry on hand baggage allowance for the rest (not checked but usually 10kg).0

Are Monarch still doing charter (MON) flights? If it is a ZB code flight then the allowance is 20kg. I don't know what it is for MON coded flights.
I know they were moving away from the charter market but not sure by what date.
On their website, there used to be information for both MON (charter) and ZB (scheduled) flights. Now there seems only to be ZB information.
OP:
Monarch website is clear that if you pay for hold baggage your allowance is 20kg.
I would stick to that - unless you are happy to pay £30 at the airport for your extra 3 kgs.....?
You get 10kg of hand luggage.0 -
Thanks everyone I will stick to the 20kg I just don't get it that it clearly states on my paperwork and my boarding passes 23kg... I will ask about it when I drop my bag..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
