Booking Finnair flight, which card to use?

I am about to book a flight on Finnair costing around £2,600. It is from the UK and their website quotes all their prices in £.

Do I use my Amex card and get 1% cashback or will I get stung by the 2.99% foreign usage charge since Finnair are in Finland?

Or do I use my Clarity card and get no foreign usage charge but also get no cashback?

If the fare is payable in sterling then use best cash back card (after allowing for any credit card fee).

There shouldn't be any conversion fees.

You are evidently booking through their UK site, which will process the transaction in sterling.

Incidentally, you might find the same flights at a better price by looking at the American Airlines site.

Price seems to have come through in sterling with no extra charges.

Look at American sites but the fares were much higher!
