Either you or the buyer need to get it redelivered on a date she will be in.

I have used the site above many times and sometimes the post man puts my full name on sometimes not again with the address full not full
I just put whats written on delivery card on web site, never had any problems

Thanks, it is all sorted now she has managed to convince them that the item is hers. I think the person she first spoke to at the delivery office was a bit of a jobsworth.

Indeed. Mind a little more jobsworth for yourself with correctly addressing items and putting a return address on?

All this ID is nonsense. All people should need is the red 'we tried to deliver' card.

After all, that card will have been put through the letterbox of the recipient and I bet the number of examples of anyone getting a package via a stolen red card could be counted on one hand of a very clumsy butcher.

Corrupt RM employees would then no doubt cause problems by nicking the cards.

More to the point, why is it a hassle to have ID?
For 99% of people its a simple a case of showing a bank card.

Our sorting office never used to accept bank cards as ID until a few years ago.

    This was very annoying.

Not heard that before, but I likes it. I likes it a lot.
