Can you explain further? It would appear to depend on who sees it.
It appears that, for some reason, the OP does not want this trace on their record and referred to it as unnecessary. Perhaps they are concerned that it will have some detrimental impact.
However, if the OP needs the verified ID account and that in itself requires the check to be made then it is not unnecessary is it? In the same basis that you would not consider a check for a new credit card or bank account etc to be unnecessary.0
