You paid for to secure a ticket back then, if you wanted to potentially save money on that price you should have waited. Of course there is the risk they would have gone up or sold out but that's the risk you take when not securing early.0

If you only want replies from people who are going to agree with you and say that you should be entitled to the 44% back, not bothering again is probably a wise decision.
This is the "Consumer rights" forum and people are only telling you what you are legally entitled to. (which is nothing)0 -

Have to be harsh to be kind sometimes lad!
Still, you're potentially going to get some goodwill gesture here and that's why I put up my post. You have to chill a bit on these things and just let it run its course. If you recognise that you are entitled to nothing here then anything you get is a bonus, and some things are out of your control (in regards to the speed of the decision etc).
Good luck on a goodwill gesture!0 -
Is this the correct forum to mention how incredibly tedious F1 is?0

Today's race should be a bit more exciting than the usual procession of cars.
It's quite an unforgiving circuit at the best of times and if it gets a bit damp there will be cars spinning off all over the place and it makes the passing manoeuvres much trickier than normal.
I don't wish to see anyone get hurt, I just want a little bit of action every now and again.0 -
We have spoken to silverstone tonight and are looking into our situation we nay get nothing but as a family of 4 where it costs nearly 2 grand for the weekend and we fo every year we feel sligjtly aggreaved they are calling us back on monday even a gift voucher to use at the track would be nice
That's why we go to Barcelona or Germany, Silverstone is just too expensive. It's ridiculous that we can buy flights, GP tickets and hotel for a lot less than the price of comparable GP ticket to a race 80 miles up the road.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
If you're after everyone agreeing with you and telling you that the people organising the event are evil, this is not the forum for you. We speak the truth.

Unfortunately Silverstone is one of the more popular circuits to go to and often has capacity crowds, so they can get away with charging alot for it.
other circuits struggle to fill up.
At least Hamilton's car number is quite high, so you can get a decent discount. if he had Rosberg's number it would only be 6% :P0
