People shop at The Body Shop because they like the products.
And/or because they want products not tested on animals.

As I said, it's not about the money but about the way they have handled (or not) my enquiries. I've had to ask a number of times in a number of different ways for them to clarify their strategy. I've been fobbed off and ignored via telephone, email and facebook

I agree! Some shops are just somewhat clueless when it comes to retaining and not annoying customers.

£3 is nothing to them given how much a typical repeat customer would spend.

I had the same with B&Q, but since not shopping there, have saved myself a small fortune sourcing things elsewhere. Found some great local and cheap businesses!

    Vote with your feet!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Grimbal, as you're in West Sussex, why don't you pop round and give Body Shop a lesson in customer retention?

On second thoughts, probably best if you send hubby. :D

Even cheap supermarket own brand stuff is labeled as not tested on animals.

Well, it say we don't test it on animals. I guess some ingredients may have been.

I Love the body shop products, hate the shop/ customer service. I have only used body shop products for over 25 years and have to say the price differences always annoy me. Voucher code this, money off that. OMG if it cost £3.00 let me buy it for £3.00 please do not charge me £5 then give me a code ????

    Transparent pricing please!!!!

I have almost stopped going into the local shop and only do normally to try something, sample etc. Buying on line is so much easier and if you are savvy you can get some amazing bargains.
Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A
