Summer camps for kids: keep them amused while they learn

My youngest daughter is back from the performing arts week. She loved it.They saw 2 plays in the week - both with £40 face value seats.
Her only moan was that she thought there was not enough food. Her roomies wanted to know how she could eat so much and still stay a size 6.It`s a mystery to me as well.
Thanks for the tip - she is looking forwards to a multi-activity week next year.0 -
I'm pleased all your kids have enjoyed their holiday, I missed this thread so will have to keep my fingers crossed for next year.
I'll be one of those who can get the holiday for £25 but as my hubby is disabled & I'm his fulltime carer neither of us are able to go out to work. My daughter is almost 12 and has never had a holiday, without a scheme like this we could never afford it.
I'm sorry some people are upset that kids like my daughter can go cheaper but if anyone could possibly find a way to make my hubby well again we will gladly get jobs then pay the full price. Or as Marigold says "if you want to swap places".Dum Spiro Spero0 -
anguk, why don't you contact them and see if they have any cancellations. 4 kids didn't turn up the week my daughter went. They do have a message on their telephone number saying they are fully booked, but there were a few kids with disabled parents and my daughter said they loved it. Give them a call and see if you can't twist their arm for one of the last weeks of the hols! It really is worth a try!0
