Thanks for the info. I picked up the last 1.66 from Toys R Us in Coventry. Only problem is that it keeps freezing every five minutes with a "Kernel Panic". I've got a PPC one and virtually never had a problem.0

Right, after much ringing around today I can report the following on Midlands and surrounding stores-
Birmingham Merry Hill- No stock
Birmingham Oldbury- No stock
Coventry- No stock (as already mentioned above)
Northampton- Nobody answered phone after about 10 attempts (good luck if you can get through!)
Gloucester- No stock
Stoke- No stock
Swindon- No stock
Oxford- Have 1 17" Imac left- 1.8Ghz, 512MB, 40Gig hard drive- white £399 standard keyboard and mouse
Solihull- Same as above (1 left also).
Leicester no longer have any stock either as I have treated myself to a macbook AND imac!
Macbook spec is the same as normals- 1.83Ghz, 512mb ram, 60Gig Hard Drive
fully boxed with software and remote- £399
Imac spec is better than those in Oxford and Solihull- 1.83Ghz, 512mb ram but 160Gig (!) Hard drive. Also fully boxed with Mighty Mouse, keyboard, remote control and ILife software. White model- £399
Got them to knock £40 off as i bought both so effectively £379 each and Iworks software for £14.99. I'm like a kid at Christmas tonight!!0 -
