That kind of Grown ups ?
So you think it should be tit for tat like the school playground?
Real life is about working out compromises between people. You have to try and resolve it yourself first or else it ends up getting unbearable.0 -

This is the whole thing. My house is on the right, with the grass patch, the cars are always parked like in the photo and the house in question is the one with the black door
It appears that you have a garage and a driveway beside your property, why do you need to park on the road?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

sorry if people misunderstood but we don't have 4 cars. I meant both us and the neighbours have 2 cars per house. 1 in the driveway, one on the road0

And the garage in the photo is not mine. My house is the one at the bottom right of the photo where you can see my hedge. Mine is on the other side and only has space for 1 car, which we obviously use.
I have no fantasy about parking anywhere in particular really. Obviously I'd rather park just opposite my house but if someone else parks there, then I move to next best one. what else is there to do?

Its always an issue when there are more vehicles than spaces. Generally you can park where it is legal to do so. But like most people you want a stress free life so your challenge is to find a happy medium. Talk to your neighbour but be firm and don't make any agreements. I had a neighbour that was the source of immense fun re people parking in front of her house. She didn't even like it when both her & husband were out at work.0
