Internet access on mobile-Where does one find the deals?
If one signs up to a TMobile or 3 Network deal, can one always add the £7.50 per month for the internet access?
With the return of Mobiles2yourdoor.com and several other excellent deals available this summer, I am trying to find a package where I can include internet access as well

There are a number of cashback deals with T-Mobile tariffs with Web 'n Walk )the data package) thrown in, offering varying amounts of cashback. The only one which offers total cashback for both phone and data on T-Mobile is with TheMobileOutlet.co.uk (under 12 Months free then Nokia N70).
Yes, you can get just the phone tariff and add the data package on. For T-Mobile it's one month at a time, so you can have it added one month and disabled the next (useful if going on holiday where you're probably not going to use the data allowance at least not outside the UK).
for T-Mobile Web 'n walk allows up to 1GB of data use from your phone (and unofficially from your laptop as well - using it now). Not sure about '3' but I think they do £5 a month for 1GB but not sure on that or the 'contract' length for the data part.

Hi, yes the 3 deal is in fact £5 a month for up to 1gig. It also has a month on month contract as long as you add the internet use after you take out the contract, otherwise you are committed to it for 6 months if you do it at the time of sale.
Can't speak for the T Mobile deal but I am very happy on 3 and their internet is very good value. In my opinion they are a far better and more stable network than they were four years ago.0 -
So that's another factor to consider when discussing contracts with 3.
At the moment, I have Internet 30 which gives me 30MB of internet access free of charge per month, so if I'm going to start a new Cashback contract I'll have to pay that figure as an extra. Not sure about the deal which Patwa mentioned-themobileoutlet.co.uk aren't in my list of "Trust them with your life" Cashback companies

Unless you really want to be stuck with the small screen and thumbreakingly poor numeric keyboard, the option is the datasurfer which you can use to surf on a proper layout with a proper keypad for free...0

I never really complain about the tiny screen or annoying keyboard- It's so useful to have mobile internet access, such inconvenience is a small price to pay.
But I'd never heard of datasurfer. It looks interesting:beer: 0 -
I also think that the datasurfer looks interesting, but is this a legitimate company and/or does the device actually work as advertised? The only reason I ask is that attempting to buy one results in a security alert thingy popping up........
.
I'd be interested in buying one otherwise, so any feedback would be appreciated thanks
