Hi all
I make my porridge with water only - don't like it made with milk
I usually mix some almonds in while it's cooking and then add honey afterwards.

There's a big thread on porridge somewhere - I'm sure someone who knows how will be along in a minute to point you in the right direction.
I love putting apple chunks, cinnamon and brown sugar with a bit of butter in a pan, cooking until softened and then adding my porridge oats and milk. Also non-cook porridge is yum - add cinnamon to milk, along with a blob of condensed milk for sweetness, pour it over porridge with added fruit and leave overnight. In the morning it's lovely and creamy.0 -
Honey, jam golden syrup, lemon curd, marmalade
Raisins
Apple sauce, cranberry sauce
Ice cream sauce
Chocolate chips
Nutella/choc spread
Chopped nuts
Dried fruit e.g. apricots, pineapple
Also try making the porridge with condensed milk
Hope that's a good start0 -
I add chopped appple or pear, or perhaps a sliced banana
Then some natural yogurt stirred in, makes it creamy
Sprinkle of sunflower or some other seedsNumerus non sum0 -
or just stir some cold into a muller lite - yum yum. takes 3 seconds to make and is lovely, although if you use too posh porridge its a bit chewy (but in a good way)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long

If I can pick cream up reduced, I love porridge made with a bit of cream added to the milk and topped with brown sugar. Not fancy maybe, but yummy!0
